Sample. In this monthly series, there are a total of 255 observations. The series covers the time period stretching from June 2004 to August 2025.
History. Here’s a quick look at some statistics we calculated on the whole sample: the diffusion index achieved a maximum of 27.1 in December 2013; it reached its minimum of -25.6 in January 2009; it had a mean value of 8.7.
