Sample. In this monthly series, there are 254 data points in total. The time span covered by the series goes from June 2004 to August 2025.
History. Here's a snapshot of a few descriptive statistics we calculated on the entire sample: the diffusion index was equal on average to 3.0; it recorded a bottom of -43.6 in March 2009; it achieved a maximum of 27.3 in March 2021.
