According to the Commitments of Traders (COT) reports published by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), long positions held by non-reporting traders in natural gas futures of the kind "NAT GAS ICE LD1 - ICE FUTURES ENERGY DIV" were 36,796 contracts on 13 January 2026, compared to 35,273 on 6 January.
